01What can I book?
21 kinds of help: AC, RO, electrician, plumber, carpenter, painter, kitchen, TV & DTH, cleaning; maid, cook, laundry, tailor, driver, labour, babysitter, elder care, beauty at home; event staff, home tutors and photographers.
02How do I book?
Choose a category, tap ADD on the services you need (you can pick several — their prices add up), then choose a professional near you and a time — or tap Search Any and the nearest free professional takes it.
03What is the start code?
A 4-digit code in your booking, shown once a professional accepts. Give it to them at your door: work starts only when they enter it. Never share it before they arrive.
04Can I talk to the professional first?
Chat and calls with a professional open as soon as they accept your booking — your phone number stays private until then. Before you book, ask SewaHome Support anything: it answers at once and a person joins when you ask.
05Hourly, daily or monthly?
Maids, cooks, drivers, labour, babysitters, elder-care attendants, event staff and tutors can be booked by the hour, the day or the month. Repairs and installations have a fixed price per job.
06When and how do I pay?
After the work is done — in cash to the professional, or online to SewaHome. Spare parts, if needed, are charged at actual cost and shown to you first.
07Can I cancel?
Yes, free: any time before a professional accepts; after that, up to 1 hour before the slot. Once work has started a booking cannot be cancelled in the app.
08What if I am not happy with the work?
Tell us within 48 hours through Support. The professional comes back and puts it right at no extra service charge.
09Do you work outside Lucknow?
We are starting in Lucknow and around it. More cities soon.
Still not sure?
Ask us before you book — a person answers, and nothing is charged for asking.
